A-Z for a healthier Mouth

Lancashire and South Cumbria faced a significant public health challenge, with high rates of tooth decay in young children compared to the national average. To address this, the Integrated Care Board sought a campaign that would encourage preventive self-care and better oral hygiene habits across all age groups.

Solution Digitalogy developed a unique “A-Z for a Healthier Mouth” campaign, comprising 26 clear, actionable tips to improve oral hygiene and health. This engaging, alphabet-based format provided accessible advice on topics like reducing sugar intake, proper brushing techniques, the benefits of fluoride, and dietary recommendations. Each letter represented a key element of oral health, promoting memorable, bite-sized advice for the whole family.

The campaign materials included:

• Social Media Campaign: A series of posts highlighting each letter and tip, optimised for easy sharing and reach.

• Poster: An eye-catching A-Z poster distributed to dental practices, schools, and community centres.

• Website Graphics: User-friendly, educational visuals for the ICB website.

The “A-Z for a Healthier Mouth” campaign successfully raised awareness of preventive oral health practices and improved engagement on social media channels.
